Another blogger for nuclear energy – NGNP Alliance
I’m perhaps a bit late to welcome the NGNP Alliance to the pro-nuclear blogging community, but it’s better to be late than to never share a welcome at all.
I love the tag line that the NGNP Alliance has chosen for their blog – Digital Advocacy for Energy Density. It concisely captures my own motive for being so active on the web; energy density is the primary reason why uranium and thorium are such superior heat generating fuels with so little waste.
I’ve heard through my grapevine that the NGNP Alliance has a new social media advisor and that the advisor has recently convinced the rather conservative decision makers at the Alliance that a publication is not actually a blog unless it allows comments. The interactive nature of the communications path is one of the features that sets it apart from the one way, elitist communication provided by the traditional news media. With blogs, you do not have to sit in your recliner or at your breakfast table and rail at the stories you are told; you can respond and be heard by the source of the story.
Welcome, NGNP Alliance. Keep learning and interacting; the water’s fine in the blogging world.
