Atomic Insights

Atomic energy technology, politics, and perceptions from a nuclear energy insider who served as a US nuclear submarine engineer officer

The Atomic Show #016 (MP3 – 12.3MB – 36min)

May 17, 2006 By Rod Adams Leave a Comment

Atomic Show 16 is a random chat about frustration with people that claim to be neutral yet place nuclear power at the bottom of their energy option list, chopping wood for fuel, driving large cars, and the importance of designing cars for the Autobahn without coffee cup holders. Hope you enjoy.

    Daniel,

Already had it bookmarked, but thanks! Dr. Cohen’s work is _very_ accessible to the lay reader, and his books have aged very well. Dr. Cohen has a few of his many papers up elsewhere on his site (http://www.phyast.pitt.edu/~blc/). If you search on “Bernard Cohen breeder reactor” on the web, you’ll eventually come across an article called “Breeder reactors: A renewable energy source”. Interesting reading, and one of my personal favorites.
