Westinghouse narrows field in search for nuclear engineering center

Westinghouse is searching for a site where it can locate a facility capable of housing 1000 nuclear engineering and support people. Eventually, Westinghouse plans to expand the facility to house as many as 2000 people.

The list of potential locations has just been narrowed to sites in western Pennsylvania, North Carolina and South Carolina. According to a report in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review Business Briefs titled Westinghouse Narrows List, Connecticut has been cut as an option.
