Energy pulse discussion about wind generation performance in recent heat wave

There is an excellent and well debated article on Energy Pulse titled Wind Generation’s Performance during the July 2006 California Heat Storm. I encourage you to go read the article and as much of the comment thread as you can. Though it is quite long, there is much of value there and it is a far higher quality debate than you get on most discussion boards.

The discussion largely focuses on the differences between wind reliability and that of fossil and nuclear power. As you might imagine, I had a few thoughts to share.
