In my last post I asked about your reactions to the long running story of the security guards who were caught napping in the ready room at the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station. A reader’s question led me to make it easier for you to find the video of that illustrate the basis for the NRC and company reactions. I will freely admit here that the video I found is a time limited news report, so there might be information and footage that is not apparent from the story.

I am willing to be proven wrong about my theory that this “incident” was blown all out of proportion and that a case could be made that naps for security guards during their long shifts are potentially beneficial to safety.
