Atomic energy technology, politics, and perceptions from a nuclear energy insider who served as a US nuclear submarine engineer officer

NS Savannah – Engineering Management and Oversight RFP

June 5, 2006 By Rod Adams

On May 12, 2006, the Maritime Administration issued a Request for Proposals for an Engineering, Management and Oversight services contract for the radiological decommissioning of the NS Savannah. I highly recommend a visit to the RFP site for the most up to date information on one of the most historically significant ships of the 20th century.

If you want to bid on the job, however, you need to move fast. Proposals are due by June 12, 2006.
