Atomic Show 66 – Using new media tools to spread atomic information
My guest on show number 66 of The Atomic Show is Cameron Reilly, CEO of The Podcast Network. Cam is one of the pioneers in the podcasting world; his G’Day World show was the first podcast produced in Australia and is one of the longest running podcasts of any kind.
His network now includes more than 80 independently produced shows and receives more than 500,000 downloads each month. Podcast listeners tend to be pretty affluent, technologically astute, forward leaning people who are just the kind of people that I think need to learn more about atomic energy.
Cameron and I had a good discussion about using readily available new media tools like podcasting and video distribution using Google Video or YouTube. We also included a rather interesting side segment revolving on following the money to determine who has been supporting the anti nuclear activists for so many years of well funded efforts.
Hope you enjoy the show.
