Another Group of Bloggers for Nuclear Energy – Clean Energy Insight
In May, I attended a gathering of the North American Young Generations in Nuclear (NA-YGN) and had the opportunity to spend a good deal of time talking with a group of engineers from Charlotte, NC, which is quickly becoming a bustling hub of activity in fields associated with atomic energy development. This group, once they found out who I was, wanted as much information as possible about blogging and building a base of readers interested in science and technology. They were well into the process of building their own group blog to share their various passions in nuclear fields.
It sounded like an exciting project, and judging from the result over at Clean Energy Insight it is going to be something worth watching. I have blog software jealousy – the site has an eye catching design and includes some nifty features that work well with the Safari 4.01 browser that I am running. Though the group appears to be made up of busy professionals, my hope is that they take the time to publish regularly – if they are in the field they can repurpose much of what they do on a day to day basis anyway.
When you get a chance, please visit CEI and say hello. Tell them Rod sent you.
