The Atomic Show #162 – New Year Chat With Pro-Nuclear Bloggers

A group of pro-nuclear bloggers discusses industry events from 2010 and predictions for 2011.

It has been far too long since the last episode of The Atomic Show. Life got in the way with a career transition and a move to a new home.

However, there is always a bit of motivation to use the turning of a calendar as the stimulus for long deferred activity. I sent out some invites and got immediate positive responses from some of my pro-nuclear blogging colleagues. We got together for a lengthy conversation about loan guarantees, financial challenges, competition from natural gas, the uncontrollable nature of wind and solar energy, the underlying motives of the smart grid sales pitches, and some predictions for the future. I hope you enjoy the show.
