Denver Residents Have The Opportunity To Learn The Truth About Nuclear Energy On Thursday 22 October

I received an intriguing press release from a group called Mondo Energy that is sponsoring an evening seminar titled The Truth About Nuclear Energy scheduled to be held at the Denver Art Museum on October 22, 2009. The speaker line-up includes:

  • Gwyneth Cravens, author of Power to Save the World
  • Dr. Roger Pielke, Jr., professor of Environmental Studies and the University of Colorado, Boulder
  • Dr. Robert Amme, professor of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Denver
  • The Honorable William C. Anderson, former Assistant Secretary of the U. S. Air Force
  • Nick Rosen, author of How to Live Off-Grid
  • John R. (Grizz) Deal, CEO of Hyperion Power Generation

There will be a book signing starting from 6:00 to 7:00 pm followed by the program from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. I wish I could attend.
