Atomic energy technology, politics, and perceptions from a nuclear energy insider who served as a US nuclear submarine engineer officer

Chevron's WillYouJoinUs project talks about nuclear power

November 18, 2006 By Rod Adams

The current topic on Chevron’s well publicized WillYouJoinUs discussion on energy issues is “What role should nuclear power play in the world’s energy future?”

The initial conversation features recycled columns by two well known commentators:

  • Patrick Moore – Going Nuclear; A Green Makes the Case. Originally published April 16, 2006 in The Washington Post
  • Amory Lovins – Nuclear Power: Economics and Climate-Protection Potential Abstract. Originally published September 11, 2005, updated January 6, 2006

Though I personally find the WillYouJoinUs forum format quite frustrating, it might be worth the effort if as many pro-nuclear people as possible participate and comment where appropriate on the various threads that are already developing.
