BusinessOnline says its "The perfect time to go nuclear"

On October 9, 2005, The Business Online published an article by Fraser Nelson titled “The perfect time to go nuclear.”

It talks about the confluence of many factors including rising prices for coal, oil and gas along with growing concerns about global climate change and other air pollution related problems. The final supporting reason to go nuclear is that it helps reduce dependence on unstable areas – thus a pro-nuclear stance can be described as a pro-peace or anti-war stance.

The Business is a United Kingdom focused publication, so the article focuses on Tony Blair’s options for promoting a nuclear power agenda, but the same arguments are true all over the word.

It is, indeed, a perfect time to go nuclear. However, nuclear power is not a fad, it will be a perfect time to begin constructing new nuclear power plants for some time to come.
