Atomic energy technology, politics, and perceptions from a nuclear energy insider who served as a US nuclear submarine engineer officer

The Nuclear Option – CNBC Original Premiering on October 14, 2008

October 9, 2008 By Rod Adams

I received a comment on a recent post letting me know about a new CNBC Original production titled – The Nuclear Option. It will be shown starting October 14, 2008. Check your local schedule for a listing, but the web site says it will be shown at 9 pm Eastern Time in the US. I would have preferred to find out about a show titled “The Nuclear Imperative”, but what do I know about marketing?

Probably as part of the build-up to the release of that show, CNBC published an article yesterday titled Nuclear Renewal Spurs Demand for Engineers. Of course, they might have published it mainly because even business oriented publications like to move away from bad news on occasion to a bright spot in the American economic future.

Update – The Nuclear Option as described by realitytvwebsite.com.
