Industry, Policy Leaders Discuss Role of Nuclear in Energy Mix

The American Nuclear Society will be holding its annual winter meeting in Washington, DC during the period from 13-17 November 2005. The title of the meeting is “Talk About Nuclear Differently: A Good Story Untold”. There are a number of excellent speakers scheduled to speak and there is a growing excitement in what has been viewed as a low to no growth field of science and industry.

I will be covering the conference on the Atomic Insights Blog and hope to provide those of you who could not attend a sense of the atmosphere as well as some factual reporting on the actual text of the speeches. It has been my experience that the hallway conversations will be at least as interesting as the formal speeches, and I hope to share some of those with you as well.
