Happy Nuclear Year – (so what is a few days delay among friends?)
I have been absent from this blog for nearly a week; I hope you have missed me.
It has been a busy week – I made a quick trip to a disappointing bowl game in Charlotte, NC where my alma mater almost broke Boston College’s bowl game winning streak. It was a sad moment when that kick sailed through the goal posts as time expired.
I have also been spending some time getting used to my Christmas present – a beautiful 17 ” MacBook Pro. My wife really loves me!
May 2007 turn out to be an outstanding nuclear year for us all – even though 2006 was a year of hope and anticipation, it really ended on a down note as at least four well operated nuclear power plants (2 in Bulgaria and 2 in the UK) were removed from the world’s electrical power supply market, leaving a market demand that will certainly be supplied by increased fossil fuel consumption.
