Free Idaho blog repots on nuclear interest in Idaho by a company owned by Warren Buffett

BillH over on freeinidaho.com posted a very interesting comment about recent interest by MidAmerican Nuclear Energy Co., a subsidiary of the Des Moines, Iowa-based MidAmerican Energy Holdings Co. in some land in Idaho. The holding company has electricity distribution companies in neighboring states and certainly has the financial resources for building nuclear power plants. I have written about Mr. Buffett’s interest in energy production – particularly nuclear energy production – before. It is interesting to see how that interest is developing.
