Atomic energy technology, politics, and perceptions from a nuclear energy insider who served as a US nuclear submarine engineer officer

G'Day World with Noam Chomsky

November 4, 2005 By Rod Adams

I have been listening to a number of podcasts for several months. There is an incredible variety of shows out there – one of my favorites is G’Day World, an interview formatted podcast out of Australia hosted by Cameron Reilly.

He recently posted an interview with Noam Chomsky. I had heard the name before, but confess that I knew little about the man or his works.

The interview was fascinating. His interpretation of 20th century history and foreign policy closely matched my own world view as being fundamentally influenced by a struggle for natural resources – particularly coal and oil.

BTW, after listening to the Chomsky interview, you might want to check out G’Day World number 54, an interview with Rod Adams. Enjoy! 🙂
