Atomic Insights

Atomic energy technology, politics, and perceptions from a nuclear energy insider who served as a US nuclear submarine engineer officer

Do Nuclear Advocates Need to "Get Over" Themselves?

May 6, 2009 By Rod Adams

There is a thoughtful discussion going on at The Energy Collective about Robin Carey’s advice to nuclear advocates titled Message to the Nuclear Industry: Get Over Yourselves. As is often the case, Robin confuses the issue a bit by addressing “the nuclear industry” but then talking more about the activities of nuclear fission technology advocates as if they were one and the same. Never the less, the post is thought provoking and the comments that have already been submitted are at least two to three orders of magnitude more interesting than the run of the mill commentary on the Internet.

Heck, there are even people writing there who think in complete paragraphs and know how to spell!

(PS – Sorry for my lack of attention to Atomic Insights lately, but I just returned from a great vacation and have some pressing “day job” tasks to complete.)
