On May 4, 2006 my buddy Shane Brown and I spent an enjoyable hour chatting with Ted Rockwell, author of The Rickover Effect: The Inside Story of How Adm. Hyman Rickover Built the Nuclear Navy and Creating the New World: Stories and Images From the Dawn of the Atomic Age.
