The Energy Information Agency has recently released a report in response to a Congressional request to put numbers on the subsidies provided to various energy sources. The discussion is currently being dominated by a man who spends a lot of time quoting various slanted reports from organizations like Public Citizen and Nuclear Information and Research Service (NIRS) that deny the numbers provided by the government agency assigned to the task of answering congress.
